Ready to Experience TZ Performance K9's

Our Legacy of Excellence in Canine Training

Since opening our first canine facility in 1986, our family has been dedicated to raising the standard for working dogs. Driven by passion and determination, we have built a thriving business, training over 15,000 dogs to date. Our love for dogs and commitment to excellence remain the cornerstone of our success, ensuring that every dog trained by us meets the highest standards.

A Team United by Passion and Expertise

We believe in the power of teamwork. Our team is composed of highly skilled and experienced K9 professionals who share a profound love for dogs and a passion for training. Each staff member is extensively trained in our unique methods and philosophy, ensuring a consistent and effective approach to every dog we work with. We take immense pride in the daily efforts of our team to place exceptional working dogs with our clients.

Fully Trained Dogs, Ready to Assist

A fully trained dog from our program provides immediate assistance and support. Each dog is carefully selected, tested, and trained by our professional trainers from an early age. This rigorous preparation ensures they excel in their designated roles, significantly reducing the risk of failure.

Acquiring and training a dog independently is a time-intensive process with no guarantee of success. Our program offers a simpler alternative: professionally trained dogs ready to seamlessly integrate into your life and meet your specific needs.

Comprehensive Training and Preparation

All of our dogs complete extensive off-leash training to ensure they respond promptly and reliably to verbal commands. Each dog undergoes a minimum of 12 months of training and socialization, with most receiving 18–24 months of preparation. This thorough training ensures they are well-equipped to handle everyday challenges and join you on life’s daily adventures.

Custom Training Tailored to Your Needs

Once you complete the application process and commit to adopting a dog, we begin the final phase of training customized specifically for you. This includes personalized Therapy Dog, Emotional Support Animal (ESA), or Service Dog training.

We refer to this final phase as custom TASK training because it is tailored to the unique ways the dog will assist you. While foundational task training is introduced to every dog, the specialized training is only finalized once we understand your specific needs. This ensures the dog’s skills are aligned with your requirements and fully prepares them to support you in real-world scenarios.

By adopting a dog from our program, you gain a trusted, professionally trained companion ready to enhance your life and meet your needs with confidence and reliability.
